After the testimonies exposed the universal prevalence of the problem, we felt a responsibility to find solutions and tackle rape culture head on by delivering specialist education in schools.
The EI education programme is designed to empower school communities to promote healthy relationships, sexual well-being and to tackle rape culture. Our approach is personal, empathetic and non judgemental. We present the facts and encourage pupils to think critically about the world around them.
"We feel more confident as a staff body to tackle these issues and better equipped to support the young people in our care. I feel privileged to have been able to work with EI due to the vast knowledge they have on these issues and now having worked together on a couple of occasions. I am looking forward to working with you more."
“Engaging and useful talk for understanding exactly what teenagers are seeing online content-wise. It's so important that we are aware of and are honest with what they are watching and being influenced by”
“I thought it was incredible. The speaker was inspiring. The info was really helpful and educated us on the materials and influences that the children are exposed to, especially online.”
“This was amazing; thank you so much. As this is a crucial issue and I am happy that it could be delivered in such a helpful and personal way.”
“I think today’s talk actually taught people how to make subtle changes in their attitudes to help change this culture.”
“It made me reconsider what I am seeing, hearing, and experiencing on a daily basis. The presenter was really passionate about the topic and delivered the presentation well.”
