Everyone's Invited Education

WHY IS EI DELIVERING EDUCATION?

After the testimonies exposed the universal prevalence of the problem, we felt a responsibility to find solutions and tackle rape culture head on by delivering specialist education in schools. With our frontline access to data, testimony and support from accredited organisations and young adults, we are delivering education that covers a majority of the statutory UK RSE, all in the language of today's generation.
The EI education programme is designed to empower school communities to promote healthy relationships, sexual well-being and to tackle rape culture. Our approach is personal, empathetic and non judgemental. We present the facts and encourage pupils to think critically about the world around them.
“EI education is honest, challenging and impactful.” - Ellie Softley Head of Education & Facilitation

BESPOKE PROGRAMME

Ellie Softley
Head of Education + Facilitation
I am one of the founding members of Everyone's Invited and have 4+ years of ground experience in inclusivity, sexual wellbeing and sexual violence prevention. In 2017 I founded SHAG, a creative platform for young adults to talk about sexual politics. I started my journey in sexual violence prevention with a focus on victims and survivors of sexual violence, spending years working with victims and consulting Everyone's Invited on support and accessibility. In the last year I have been facilitating workshops and talks for organisations such as Bold Voices, Talk Consent and Split Banana, delivering sex and gender education to students from the ages of 11-18.
Having worked in multiple areas with people from all over the UK, from different religions, cultures, economic backgrounds and races, I have developed an ability to engage with everyone and anyone, either online or in person. I have chosen to participate in work that puts me in direct contact with the next generation. I believe change is made from person to person and that conversation and communication on a small scale can make incremental difference in the long term.
